Context
Midair is a concept for an in-car interface. Most dashboards treat the map as one app among many.
Problem
Drivers spend most of the drive navigating, yet the map competes for space with media, climate, and calls.
Research
Surveyed 12 drivers on how they navigate, what distracts them, and what they want visible on screen at all times.

Process
Started from the map as the base layer and asked what each other function needs while driving. Sketched states, not screens.

Solution
Navigation is the canvas. Media, climate, and calls adapt around the route, then step back when the road needs attention.

Outcome
A concept study delivered as a working prototype. Led product design end to end. Not yet shipped, so the figures below are anticipated outcomes based on survey findings and the prototype.
